Nankuei Lin trained at the prestigious Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, where he was awarded the Diploma in Architecture in 2005. Since passing RIBA Part II (with High Pass), he has worked for more than 5 years on large-scale real estate developments globally, in Asian and European territories.
He is descended from a well-known family in Taiwan, which has been continuously engaged in the property development business for generations; this advantageous heritage has offered him an almost instinctive in-depth understanding of the culture of business practices that operate in Taiwan and China. Coupled with his Western professional education and work experience at the architectural design pioneers, Foreign Office Architects (London, UK), he has a particular sensitivity to the needs and desires of the current Chinese property market. His ambition is not only to establish a successful business model that generates a satisfactory turn-over, but to be a pioneer leading the trend of designing property typologies and brands for the “New Chinese” market.
His work on domestic projects includes several private housing complexes in Taipei (Taiwan), Shanghai (China) and London (UK). He has contributed to numerous international competitions including the P&O Office & Commercial complex; the design-and-build office project currently underway at Trinity EC3 (London, UK), and a shopping mall project, New Shires Development (Leicester, UK).
Since January 2008, he has been the full-time CEO at Green Developments.Co & Shinder Development.Co based in Taiwan and China, managing high-density residential projects in Taipei and its satellite cities; opening new projects in the satelite cities of Shang-Hai, China.
